Having worked as caretaker manager at the Pirelli Stadium, npower League Two side Burton Albion confirmed the permanent appointment of Gary Rowett in May 2012.
The Staffordshire outfit were well known to the former Derby County, Birmingham City and Leicester City defender, after he made 43 appearances for the club – then in the Conference – between 2005 and 2007.
