James Russell is Head of Sports Science at npower League Two side Gillingham.
Working in close proximity to manager Martin Allen, James is responsible for the welfare of the first-team squad, looking after everything from physical conditioning to diet.
James graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a Masters Degree and has held conditioning posts at Notts County, Rochdale and MLS side Kansas City Wizards.
