Paul Peschisolido enjoyed an extensive playing career that started in his native Canada with Toronto Blizzard, saw him take in Italy and Ireland in the form of Juventus and St. Patrick’s Athletic, and earned him a tally of 118 goals for a host of English sides including Birmingham City, Stoke City, Fulham, Sheffield United and Derby County. The 40-year-old also won 53 caps for Canada.
Moving into coaching, he took up an assistant manager role at St. Patrick’s before being offered the manager’s job at Burton Albion in May 2009. There, he moulded the side into a consistent and well organised npower League Two outfit.
