Russell Slade has been manager of London side Leyton Orient since April 2010, preserving the club’s npower League One status on one of the division’s lowest wage bills. During that time, the 52-year-old also guided the Os to a memorable FA Cup fifth round home draw with Arsenal.
Slade began his professional managerial career at Conference club Scarborough after caretaker-manager roles at Notts County and Sheffield United. He went on to guide Grimsby Town and Yeovil Town to play-off finishes in Leagues Two and One respectively, and also enjoyed a spell at Brighton & Hove Albion.
