Sean Dyche was appointed as the new manager of Watford in June 2011 having served as a youth-team coach before becoming assistant manager to Malky Mackay.
Dyche will look to use the experience gained in a 17-year professional playing career to inspire a club working on one of the lowest budgets in the npower Championship.
As a fearless and dominant defender, he spent seven years at Chesterfield, much of that time as club captain.
Dyche also turned out for Millwall, Bristol City, Luton Town and Northampton Town.
