Steve Kean landed the manager’s job at Blackburn Rovers in December 2010, successfully leading the Lancashire side to safety last season in the Barclays Premier League.
The appointment represented Kean’s first time in the managerial hotseat having previously taken the role of assistant manager at Reading, Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry City.
Kean originally arrived at Ewood Park as firstteam coach in August 2009, and impressed last season as Rovers gained eight points from their final four matches to remain in England’s top division.
