German Uwe Rosler is now in his second season in charge of npower League One side Brentford, having arrived in west London from Norwegian side Molde.
Last year, the former Manchester City, Southampton and FC Kaiserslautern striker guided the Bees to within reach of the end-of-season playoffs playing a brand of positive, attacking football.
Rösler, a holder of the UEFA Pro License, has also managed Lillestrom and Viking, and made six appearances for the East Germany national team before the collapse of the Berlin Wall.
