Diamond shooting game

Diamond shooting game

This is a game that practises shooting by restricting the playing area that players operate in. It requires pure attacking intent from players who must shoot on sight and be positive in everything they do.

Biography

Nigel Worthington was most recently the manager of York City. Worthington is vastly experienced within the game and has also took charge of the Northern Ireland national team. Nigel began his managerial career with Blackpool and then went onto to spend almost six years in charge of Norwich City. The main highlight of his tenure was the end of the 2003/04 season, ensuring Norwich's promotion to the Premier League as Division One champions, after coming close to doing so via the play-offs in 2002. Later Worthington had a brief spell in charge of Leicester City where he preserved their Championship status, before he was confirmed as the new manager of Northern Ireland on June 1 2007. He stepped down from the position after the final game of the Euro 2012 qualifiers against Italy. During his 40 games in charge, he oversaw three qualifying campaigns for his country. He later made an instant impact following his appointment at York by guiding his side to safety in League Two to preserve their Football League status. After York reached the play-offs in May 2014, but lost out, Worthington left the club in October 2014. As a player, Worthington is well remembered as a hard-working Sheffield Wednesday left-back having spent ten years as a player at Hillsborough. After a couple of seasons at Leeds United, he joined Stoke City where he spent a further year before accepting the player/manager post at Blackpool. His playing career ended before Christmas 1997 at Bloomfield Road and Nigel concentrated solely on his managerial career. He earned 66 caps for his country.
